A free, confidential, NHS service for to people aged 18+. They provide a service across the county of Dorset and in Southampton for people registered at either a Dorset or Southampton GP surgery. As an IAPT service they accept self-referrals by web and telephone.

The bereavement counselling service is based at Forest Holme and provides support and counselling for individuals, couples, children, young people and families before and after bereavement.

PARAGON (formerly You First) are a specialist team working together empowering change for individuals, families, and our communities. PARAGON is part of The YOU Trust and is their domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking team.
Their support includes:

Providing respite and time out from your caring role, such as organising activities for young carers during school holidays

Signposting to any extra support that you as the young carer, or the cared-for person needs such as agencies

Acting as an advocate in school if necessary

Dorset Young Carers Service - Dorset Council
REACH is a partnership between EDP Drug & Alcohol Services (EDP), Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust (AWP) and Essential Drug and Alcohol Services (EDAS). A Safe and Well visit is a completely free service offered by Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to help keep our communities safer in their homes. Their Safe and Well provision is a good will advisory service to members of the public that meet their eligibility criteria. During a visit they carry out a room by room check to provide you with appropriate advice and support to keep your household safer from the risk of fire. They might also make recommendations, such as kitchen safety tips, how to improve the use of electrical items etc. Following their visit they may signpost you to other agencies or services to help you access the appropriate support that might be required.
